It has been two years since the initial launch of Slotpicker.
While the site was working well up to this day, the design has become outdated
and internal processes for updating slot data were cumbersome, resulting in fewer updates.
But because Slotpicker has seen continuous growth, it was time for a major change.
✨ Slotpicker has seen a major design overhaul. The new design is more modern and user-friendly, focusing on improved usability especially on mobile devices and large resolution screens. If you encounter any issues with the new UI, please let me know.
🌍 New translations were added. The Slotpicker randomizer UI can now be translated to a variety of languages. Key factor for choosing which languages to add was the number of visitors from that country. Note that most translations were created using machine translation and may not be perfect. If you wish to volunteer to improve the translations, feel free to reach out.
⚙️ Internal processes have been improved which enables me to update slot data more frequently. Those changes may also improve the loading speed of the site under certain circumstances.
